Work / Clinic App

Healthcare, minus the phone tree.

A clinic group's patients booked by phone, got reminders by mail, and asked for records at the front desk. We put all three in one calm app — and shipped it in a quarter.

The problem

Booking meant calling during business hours. Reminders came as postcards. No-shows were eating schedule capacity, and the front desk spent half its day on tasks a screen could handle. Patients — many of them older — needed something genuinely simple, not another cluttered health portal.

What we built

We prototyped in week one and put it in front of actual patients in the waiting room — including the ones who said they "don't do apps." What they struggled with reshaped the design: bigger type, fewer screens, one obvious action per view. Booking, reminders, and records, nothing else.

One cross-platform codebase kept iOS and Android in lockstep, with native touches where they matter — notifications, biometrics, calendar integration. HIPAA-conscious architecture throughout.

The outcome

A 4.8-star launch rating, a 40% drop in no-shows once reminders went live, and a front desk that talks to patients instead of the scheduling screen. The clinic's only complaint: they wish they'd done it two years earlier.
